Youth guidelines

Draft. The reviewed version will be published before Pull Central launches.

Who can have an account

Accounts are for people 13 and older. Parents and guardians register younger children from their own account, and manage their registration, waivers, and schedule there.

What others can see

Player names never appear on public pages. Teammates, coaches, and linked parents see their own team. Opponents see a first name, last initial, and jersey number. Birthdates, contact details, and medical notes are shown only to the people who need them to run the league.

Teens

Players 13 to 17 can register themselves. A parent or guardian signs their waiver from an emailed link, and can link to the teen's player to see schedules and team details.

Contact outside the app

Leagues use Discord for announcements, and Discord requires users to be 13 or older. Leagues should follow USA Ultimate's youth safety guidance, including copying a parent on messages between an adult and a minor.
